Designing a photo album can be surprisingly time-consuming if you are picky about layout like me. A few years ago, I tried to design a photo book of our pets as a Christmas gift for my step-kids. If I just wanted to throw the images into their book designer and not customize much, it would have been ok. But, me being me, I wanted to crop photos a certain way and place things very intentionally. I ended up using InDesign, exporting individual layouts, and then uploading the images into the book designer’s website. I just didn’t have time to learn their system in order to get the result that I was looking for.
This experience prompted me to start offering albums to clients because if it was hard for me to make a custom photo book, think about how hard it would be for one of my clients! The videos below showcase the albums that are offered in my Concierge Collections, which include my top-line products and a personal design consultation. In these consultations, we select the photos that we will print and then decide how they will be printed. For people who are interested in wall art, I can even show clients how different print sizes will look on their walls, taking the guesswork out of the selection of wall prints and collages.
