Brittney & Aaron’s Engagement Photo Session

This engagement session from early spring is for yet another couple who LOVES their dogs. The proposal included their dogs, so the engagement session also had to include their dogs!

Aaron proposed to Brittney by surprising her with a new black lab puppy and asking her if she liked the name on the new puppy’s collar. The collar said: “Will you marry me?” You know I love a couple who loves their dogs, so I was psyched to work with them.

We shot these photos at Raleigh’s Lake Wheeler Park and then moved over to Historic Yates Mill after we had gotten a few photos with the dogs. Yates Mill is the most popular shoot location by far for my portrait sessions. Even when many of the trees are still bare, it’s beautiful.
