Jessica’s Senior Session at Raulston Arboretum

My heart goes out to all of the 2020 graduating high school seniors whose senior year has been completely disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are living through unprecedented times and I would imagine that this experience has been very anxiety-producing for many young people.

Today I’d like to celebrate Jessica, who luckily had her senior session this past fall, way before the coronavirus changed all of our lives. We shot at the Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, which is a stunning location for portraits. The variety of plants and architectural elements makes it a photographer’s playground.

I was honored to work again with, Jessica’s mom, Mary. I photographed Mary’s son, Ben, a couple of years ago. Both of Mary’s children are quite photogenic and it was great to work with her family for a second time!
